Data Science roadmap: questions, data, decisions

Years are a guide, not a deadline. Students move at different speeds and in a different order; skip what you already know and spend longer where you need to. Steps marked Optional are worth doing if they fit your goals.

  1. First year

    Spreadsheets to scripts.

  2. Second year

    SQL everywhere, inference and dashboards.

  3. Third year

    ML for prediction, internships for proof.

  4. Fourth year

    Communication compounds; convert interviews.
