  • My B.Tech Journey at LPU: Campus Life, Placements and Overall Experience

Student, alumni, Graduated 2025 · Lovely Professional University

My journey at Lovely Professional University was a mix of learning, opportunities, challenges, and personal growth. As a B.Tech CSE student, I got exposure to technical subjects, projects, college activities, and opportunities to interact with students from different backgrounds. The campus is one of LPU’s biggest highlights, with modern infrastructure, libraries, laboratories, sports facilities, and plenty of activities to participate in. There are opportunities to learn beyond academics, but students need to take the initiative to make the most of them. When it comes to academics, the experience depends on the faculty, subject, and how actively you participate in learning. Students who focus on practical skills, coding, projects, internships, and interview preparation can make better use of their time at the university. Placements offer opportunities across different companies, but getting a good offer is not guaranteed for everyone. Your technical skills, communication, problem-solving ability, and consistent preparation play an important role. I would recommend starting placement preparation early rather than depending entirely on college training. The overall cost is an important factor to consider. Students should compare tuition fees, hostel charges, living expenses, scholarships, and the realistic placement opportunities available for their chosen course before making a decision. Overall, LPU can provide a good platform for students who are proactive, explore opportunities, build practical skills, and take responsibility for their careers. My advice to future students is to make use of the available resources, participate in projects and activities, and focus on learning skills beyond the classroom.
